An accurate invoice, directly from completed work
An invoice should not start as an empty document. You already planned the work, agreed the rate and recorded the hours or mileage. Pompie turns that information into invoice lines, leaving you to review and issue it.
What belongs on a business invoice
A complete invoice includes the names and addresses of you and your client, your KVK and—when required—VAT number, a unique sequential invoice number, invoice and service dates, a clear description, amounts and the appropriate VAT treatment.
Pompie checks the required business and address details before an invoice can be issued. You choose the VAT treatment that applies to your work; Pompie does not provide tax advice.
From assignment to final PDF
- Worked hours, rates, supplements, mileage and billable items become invoice lines.
- The PDF shows the invoice date, service period and actual due date.
- Review the client, amounts and VAT before issuing.
- The final PDF is archived and cannot silently change afterwards.
- Email the PDF, add a SEPA scan-to-pay QR and mark the invoice paid.
For on-location work in any sector
Pompie is best suited to independent professionals working on location for several clients: teachers, interpreters, security staff, technicians, consultants and healthcare professionals. Healthcare invoicing is supported, but it does not define the whole product.
Frequently asked questions
Does Pompie guarantee that every invoice is tax-correct?
Pompie checks required basic details, archives the final PDF and calculates from the rates and VAT choice you enter. You remain responsible for the correct VAT treatment and invoice contents.
Can I invoice each client separately?
Yes. Pompie keeps work grouped by client and creates a separate invoice for each client within your number sequence.
Can I invoice healthcare work?
Yes. Healthcare work can use the specific VAT exemption when the service and agreement meet the applicable conditions.
Which invoices is Pompie designed for?
Pompie supports services invoiced to Dutch clients in euros, with one VAT treatment per invoice. Mixed VAT rates, reverse charge, international invoices and Peppol are not supported yet.
